Added ten interface languages on Mac, with instant switching and a Follow System option.
Added interactive MCP Apps in chat and the sidebar, including tools such as the Bits & Bolts Parts Library.
Changed Workflows to include a docked AI Assistant, reusable templates, clearer step settings, and help fixing failed runs.
Added setting up scheduled tasks and workflows through chat, with results, notifications, and quick edits in the Scheduled view.
Changed long agent tasks to reuse the prompt cache more reliably and show a clearer breakdown of conversation costs.
Added ElevenLabs text-to-speech through Enconvo Cloud without a personal API key.
Feedback
- Added an Enconvo feedback website with a search-first home page, roadmap overview, light and dark themes, and a duplicate check before posting, for feature requests, issue reports, voting, comments, and a public roadmap, with configurable Discord forum synchronization that also follows edits and deletions of Discord replies.
- Added Feedback links to the chat window's Help menu, the menu bar menu, Settings on Mac, and Settings on iPhone, which open the Enconvo feedback website.
Chat and Attachments
- Changed images attached in the Chat Window composer to larger thumbnails that open a full-window preview with zoom, panning, and next/previous navigation when clicked.
- Fixed pasting a copied image or screenshot with Command-V taking about a second to appear in the Chat Window composer, so it now shows up almost instantly.
- Fixed adding an image or annotation in the Chat Window composer pushing the text you are typing down, so the composer now grows upward with the attachment sitting just above the text.
- Changed files attached in the Chat Window composer to cards that show the first lines of text and code files, or a file-type icon for other files, with the file name underneath.
- Changed dragging files over the Chat Window to dim the chat area beside the sidebar and show a Drop to attach label next to the cursor, so you can drop files anywhere in that area to attach them.
- Changed the add button in the Chat Window composer to a larger, brighter plus icon so it is easier to spot.
- Fixed Ask AI on selected reply text in the Chat Window, which now adds the passage to the composer as an annotation that previews on hover, and clicking the annotation jumps back to the passage and keeps its line highlighted.
Agent Reliability and Usage
- Fixed agent runs re-sending the whole conversation without the prompt cache after Computer Use and other tool steps, so long agent tasks use far fewer tokens and cost less.
- Added the cost in US dollars to the conversation usage pill and its Usage tab, with a per-model line of input, output, cache read, and cache write tokens and the most expensive steps ranked by cost.
- Fixed long agent tasks keeping every old browser page state and screenshot in context after the conversation was auto-compacted, so old ones are cleared again and each step uses far fewer tokens.
- Changed the list of available skills that agents receive on every step to use shorter descriptions, so each step sends fewer tokens while every skill stays listed.
- Changed agents with more skills than their list has room to describe to keep the descriptions of the skills used most recently, listing the rest by name, and to keep that list the same for the rest of a conversation so loading a skill does not undo the prompt cache.
- Changed agent tasks to send a short pointer instead of a repeated tool result when a call returns exactly what an identical earlier call returned, such as reading an unchanged file again, so long tasks use fewer tokens.
- Changed agent tasks that use Browser Use or Computer Use to clear old page states and screenshots in batches instead of on every step, so the prompt cache keeps working and long tasks cost much less.
- Changed read-only explorer subagents to no longer receive the file-editing, browser-task, and other tools they are never allowed to run, so each of their steps sends fewer tokens.
- Changed subagents to leave out guides for abilities they cannot use, such as replying in messaging channels and, for read-only explorers, creating images, video, or speech and transcribing audio, so each of their steps sends fewer tokens.
- Changed agents to leave skills marked
disable-model-invocation: trueout of their skill list, as Claude Code does, so these skills run only when you ask for them, such as by @-mentioning them, and the list has room to describe the skills agents can pick themselves. - Fixed installed skills whose description spans several lines in SKILL.md, or is written as a YAML block or quoted text, showing only part of it or different text to agents and in Find Capabilities, so agents now see the description exactly as written when choosing a skill.
- Changed read-only explorer subagents to run on a faster, lower-cost model when your provider offers one: Claude Haiku with Anthropic, and GPT-6 Luna with OpenAI and Enconvo Cloud, falling back to your chat's model if the provider refuses it.
- Fixed the Context tab of the conversation usage pill showing too much for the system prompt and skills and too little for tool results with Claude and GPT models.
- Fixed agent tasks running a tool whose input was cut off when the model's reply hit its output length limit, so the model is now asked to make the call again instead.
- Fixed replies from Claude, GPT, and Vercel AI Gateway models stopping mid-sentence at the output length limit, so agents now continue the reply automatically as they already did for other models.
- Fixed agent tasks failing outright when the model provider was briefly overloaded or returned a temporary error before replying, so the request is now retried automatically after a short wait.
- Fixed GPT models showing an empty reply when the request failed partway, so the provider's error message now appears instead.
- Fixed long conversations with Qwen, GitHub Copilot, Zhipu, and other providers stopping with a context-length error instead of being compacted automatically.
- Fixed auto-compacted conversations losing their latest progress when the summary was cut off at the output length limit, so a shorter summary is requested instead.
- Fixed the conversation cost in US dollars counting 1-hour prompt cache writes at the 5-minute price and ignoring the higher price for prompts over 200K tokens.
- Changed OpenRouter conversations to stay on the same upstream provider from the first message, so later turns reuse the prompt cache more often.
- Changed context compaction summaries for Claude on OpenRouter to skip prompt cache writes, since a summary prompt is never sent again.
- Changed agent conversations with Claude to keep the 1-hour prompt cache only for the instructions and tools that every chat shares, caching the rest of the conversation for 5 minutes, so agent tasks cost less.
- Fixed agent steps where Claude thinks twice in a row saving the first thought as empty, which could make that reply display incorrectly in the Chat Window.
MCP Apps and Servers
- Fixed installed Codex plugins whose MCP server sets a working folder relative to the plugin, such as OpenAI's Bits & Bolts, failing to connect with a "Connection closed" error.
- Added interactive views for MCP tools that come with one (MCP Apps), such as the Parts Library in OpenAI's Bits & Bolts plugin, which now appear in the tool step in chat and can load data from their own server.
- Changed agents to no longer see MCP tools that a plugin marks as only for its interactive view, so they choose from the tools meant for them.
- Fixed agents reading MCP tool results that carry only structured data as empty.
- Added sending from MCP App views into the chat, so a view such as the Bits & Bolts Parts Library can attach what you are looking at to your next message or ask a follow-up question for you.
- Added saving files from MCP App views, such as downloading a part's STL from the Bits & Bolts Parts Library, through the standard save panel.
- Added opening local files from MCP App views of plugins that run on your Mac, such as opening a Bits & Bolts part's source file, while apps and scripts are only shown in Finder.
- Added support for forms that MCP servers ask you to fill in during a tool call, such as choosing parts or files in Bits & Bolts, which appear as questions in the chat that called the tool.
- Added @-mentions for MCP server resources, so typing @ in the composer can attach items such as Bits & Bolts parts to your message.
- Fixed MCP App views offering a full-screen button when their plugin only supports showing them in the chat.
- Added starting a new chat from MCP App views that ask for one, so a view can send its message to a fresh conversation with the same agent instead of the current one.
- Added opening local files in MCP App views that support them, such as an STL model in the Bits & Bolts viewer, which shows the file, follows changes made to it elsewhere, and can save your edits back to it.
- Added MCP server settings to plugin Settings panels, so a plugin such as Bits & Bolts shows its units, grid and camera options as regular controls that save back to the server, along with its own settings views.
- Added opening MCP Apps beside a chat, so the + in the chat's side panel opens a plugin's app such as the Bits & Bolts parts library as a tab next to Files, and each chat keeps its own tabs.
- Added MCP Apps to the Chat Window sidebar, so a plugin's app such as Bits & Bolts opens as its own page where asking a question starts a chat with the app kept beside it, and its quick action runs from a button on the sidebar row.
- Added opening MCP App pages from links, so an
enconvo://plugins/…/app/…link, or a Codex-style link inside an app such as Bits & Bolts, opens that app in the Chat Window at the part or page it points to. - Added Set up for plugins that come with a setup skill, such as Bits & Bolts, so right after installing one, or later from its More menu, a new chat walks you through getting it ready.
- Added a context chip to the chat composer showing what an MCP App view will send with your next message, such as the part you are looking at in Bits & Bolts, where you can review each item and remove any of them before sending.
- Fixed MCP App views such as the Bits & Bolts viewer sending their context to the chat over and over while they were open.
- Added pictures to the choices in MCP server forms, such as the parts list Bits & Bolts asks you to pick from, so you can choose by image in the Chat Window.
- Added previews to MCP server form choices, so you can open a choice's details or its app view in the Chat Window before picking it.
- Fixed MCP App icons in the chat's side panel and the Chat Window sidebar, so apps whose icons are web links now show them instead of a generic icon, and icons meant to follow the theme now show in the text color in dark mode.
- Fixed Escape in MCP App views, so pressing it inside a view now leaves full screen or closes the preview or settings dialog it is in, and Escape in a full-screen view no longer stops the running reply.
- Added MCP App views that appear as soon as the agent's tool call starts running, so a view shows its progress before the result arrives and says when the call was stopped or failed.
- Added MCP App view tools, so the agent can work with an app shown in the chat through the tools it offers, such as opening a part in the Bits & Bolts viewer and turning its camera when you ask.
- Added graceful closing for MCP App views, so an app saves your work before its tab, preview, or page closes, and can close itself when you are done with it.
- Added live input previews to MCP App views, so a view can show what the agent is writing into a tool call that runs without approval, before the call starts.
- Added live tool, resource, and prompt updates to MCP App views, so a view can list its server's prompts and sees new tools, resources, and prompts without being reopened.
- Added MCP App settings entrypoints, so a plugin's MCP server can offer its own settings views in the plugin's Settings, and searching plugins for those settings, such as "viewer settings", finds the plugin and opens them directly.
- Added AI model access for MCP App views, so after you allow an app, its view can ask your chat's model for a short reply, such as a suggestion inside the app, without adding anything to the conversation.
- Added AI model access for MCP servers during their tool calls, so a server can ask your chat's model for a short reply after you allow it once or for the whole chat.
- Added an AI model access setting to each MCP server, so you can stop a server and its apps from using your AI model, or have them ask you again.
- Added tool use to MCP AI model access, so an MCP server or app can let your model call the tools it offers, such as looking something up before it answers, with one approval covering the replies after those tools run.
- Changed MCP App views to receive Enconvo's full set of theme colors, text sizes, corners, and shadows, so apps match the chat in light and dark mode instead of mixing in their own default colors.
- Fixed error messages that MCP App views show when Enconvo turns down a request, which repeated "MCP error" twice before the reason.
- Fixed copy buttons in MCP App views, which couldn't write to the clipboard even when the app asked for clipboard access.
- Fixed MCP App views showing an outdated version after their MCP server restarted or was updated, which only went away once the Chat Window was closed and opened again.
- Fixed MCP App views from different MCP servers sharing one web origin, which let one server's view read another's open view and saved data, so each server's views are now kept apart, and anything views saved in the browser before this update starts fresh.
- Fixed MCP App views from servers that declare their content sources and border only in their resource list, which loaded without their scripts, images or styles from the web.
- Fixed local MCP servers that write a lot of log output, such as many Python servers, which stopped answering after running for a while.
- Added the last lines a local MCP server printed to the error shown when it fails to start or stops, so Settings → MCP shows why, such as a missing package or API key.
- Fixed remote MCP servers that failed every tool call after the server restarted or ended the session, until they were reconnected by hand in Settings → MCP.
- Fixed tool calls to older SSE-based MCP servers that hung until they timed out after the server restarted or its connection dropped.
- Fixed MCP servers that stopped or lost their connection disappearing from the agent's tools until they were reconnected by hand, so they now reconnect the next time you send a message.
- Added live progress for long MCP tool calls, so the running step in chat shows what the server is doing and how far along it is, and a call that keeps reporting progress is no longer stopped by its tool timeout.
- Changed agent approvals to follow what an MCP server says about its tools, so tools it marks read-only run without asking, even for read-only subagents, and tools it marks destructive always ask first.
- Fixed MCP tool calls that an agent made through the generic MCP call route skipping the approval that the same tool asks for when called directly.
- Changed agents to run several calls to MCP tools that their server marks read-only at the same time, like web searches and file reads, so lookups across MCP servers finish sooner.
- Added prompts from MCP servers to the composer's / menu, so picking one asks for its details, fills in its text, and attaches any files or images it includes to your next message.
- Fixed MCP servers that offer only prompts or resources, and no tools, failing to connect.
- Added suggestions while you fill in an MCP prompt, so servers that support it offer values such as names or IDs as you type, narrowed by what you already entered.
- Added resources from any MCP server to the composer's @ menu, so typing @ and part of a name can attach a server's files or notes to your message, even when the server has no search of its own.
- Added MCP resource templates to the composer's @ menu, so picking one such as a daily note asks for its details, suggests values when the server can, and attaches the resource they point to.
- Fixed removed MCP servers keeping access to the local files they had opened, which a server added later under the same name could reuse.
- Added support for MCP servers that ask you to finish a step in your browser, such as connecting another account or paying, which show the full address with a warning for suspicious ones, open it only after you agree, and continue the tool call once you are done.
- Added support for MCP tools that run as long background tasks, such as video renders, which show the server's status on the tool step, keep running as long as the server reports progress, and stop on the server when you stop the call.
- Fixed MCP servers with many tools offering only the first page of them, so every tool the server lists is available, including after the server updates its tool list.
- Changed MCP server errors to include the last warnings and errors the server reported, both in Settings and on a tool call the server stopped in the middle of, so a server that stops working explains why.
- Added skills from MCP servers that offer them, such as Hugging Face, which agents in a chat you are watching can load and follow like your own skills, while any command or script they would run because of one asks you first, even with Full access.
- Added OAuth client credentials for remote MCP servers, so a server can be connected with a client ID and a client secret or private key registered with its authorization server, without anyone signing in.
- Added enterprise sign-in for remote MCP servers, so you sign in once with your organization's identity provider and every server that trusts it connects without its own sign-in.
- Changed MCP server sign-in so a server's tokens are only ever sent to the authorization server that issued them, and a sign-in that comes back from a different authorization server is refused.
- Changed MCP server settings so the settings page no longer receives a server's sign-in tokens, only whether the server is signed in.
- Added support for the 2026-07-28 version of the MCP protocol, so servers that offer it, such as Context7, connect with it while older servers keep working as before.
- Added a Protocol version setting for MCP servers, so a server that fails or starts too slowly when asked for the 2026-07-28 version can be set to the version it speaks, and its settings show the version it connected with.
- Added support for MCP servers on the 2026-07-28 version that run tool calls as background tasks, which show the server's status on the tool step the moment a server that sends updates reports it, ask any questions the task needs in the chat that called the tool, and stop on the server when you stop the call.
- Fixed remote MCP servers that need an API key showing an Authenticate button that could never work, so they now say the key is missing or was refused, how to add it as a header, and the reason the server gave.
- Fixed MCP servers whose sign-in expired or whose key was revoked after connecting still showing as connected while every tool call failed with an unclear error, so they now show that you need to sign in again or check the key, and connect again on the next use once it works.
- Fixed Connectors that use your Enconvo account, such as Gmail and Google Calendar, staying connected with an unclear error after your Enconvo sign-in expired or you signed out, so they now ask you to sign in to Enconvo again and reconnect the next time you send a message after you do.
- Fixed MCP tools that need more access than your sign-in grants failing every time even after signing in again, so the error now names the access the server asks for, the server's settings show a Grant access button, and signing in again asks for that access too.
- Added a prompt in chat when an MCP tool needs more access than your sign-in grants, so you can sign in again in your browser and Enconvo runs the tool again once you're done, or choose Not now to stop being asked in that chat for a while.
- Added Shared folders to MCP server settings, so a server that works with files, such as a filesystem or code server, knows which folders you want it to work in and hears right away when you change them.
- Added live resource updates to MCP App views, so a view that follows one of its server's resources, such as a document or a dashboard, refreshes when the server says it changed instead of showing stale data until reopened.
- Changed long agent tasks to clear old shell output, file reads, searches, and web results in large batches once a task has built up plenty of them, keeping the latest ones, so long tasks use fewer tokens without rewriting the prompt cache too often.
- Changed long agent tasks to also clear earlier reads of a file the agent has since edited, while keeping them when the edit failed, so the model works less often from an outdated copy.
- Changed long agent tasks to also clear the old and new text of earlier file edits once they are applied, keeping the file path, so long coding tasks use fewer tokens.
- Changed long agent tasks to also clear old lookups the agent can simply repeat, such as API schema checks, provider and app lists, Connector status, and log tails, so long tasks use fewer tokens.
- Changed the file edit tool to answer with a one-line summary of the lines changed instead of the full diff, while the Chat Window still shows the diff when you expand the step.
- Changed large tool results in agent tasks to keep a short preview in the conversation and save the full text to a file the agent can read in parts, so one big result no longer fills the context, while a loaded skill still arrives in full.
- Changed skills that agents load and skills you @-mention to send their description on one line and their instructions without the rest of the settings header at the top of SKILL.md, so each loaded skill uses fewer tokens for the rest of the conversation.
- Changed the provider lists that agents read for LLM, image, video, speech, OCR, web search, and web fetch providers to show each provider's name, description, and default settings, so the full list of LLM or speech-to-text providers now fits in one tool result and uses about a quarter of the tokens.
- Changed the Memory instructions and the built-in tool list that agents receive on every step to a shorter list format, so each step sends fewer tokens.
- Changed rarely used agent tools, such as Subagents and Avatar actions, to load only when the agent needs them, so every step sends fewer tokens.
- Changed agents to load the guide for batching a multi-step pipeline into one run only when a task needs it, instead of sending it with every step, so every step sends fewer tokens.
- Changed agents bound to a messaging channel such as Telegram to receive the full channel reply instructions only for messages that come from that channel, so their other conversations send fewer tokens on every step.
- Changed web search results that agents receive to leave out the provider's raw response and repeated text, so each search uses fewer tokens.
- Changed agents looking up the tools of a large plugin, MCP server, or Connector, such as Browser Use or Google Calendar, to receive each tool's parameter names first and fetch a tool's full parameters only when needed, so these lookups use far fewer tokens.
- Changed file reads and shell command results that agents receive to plain text instead of JSON, so they use fewer tokens and the agent sees a file's exact text when it edits it.
- Changed agent file searches to show only the part of a very long line around each match, so searches through minified code, data files, or logs use far fewer tokens.
- Fixed agent file searches failing with "maxBuffer length exceeded" in folders of large files such as logs, so they now return the newest matches.
- Fixed agent file searches leaving out matches in files that are not UTF-8, such as GBK or Latin-1 text.
- Changed agent file searches to name files relative to the chat's working folder and to say how many matching files were left out, so searches use fewer tokens.
- Fixed agent file name searches failing when the pattern contains an apostrophe or when ripgrep is not on the system path.
- Fixed agent file searches failing for a folder written with
~/, and on Windows and Linux failing even after ripgrep is installed. - Changed shell command results that agents receive to show only the last state of progress bars and spinners instead of every redraw, so installs, downloads, and training runs use far fewer tokens.
- Changed agent replies in chat to lead with short notes on what the agent is doing and fold routine tool steps between them into one expandable line that names the files it changed, such as "Read 3 files, edited README.md", while steps that are still running stay visible.
- Changed questions an agent asks you in chat to stay visible with your answer, or Skipped, next to them instead of folding into the tool steps.
- Added running tasks from a Realtime Voice call in their own agent chats, so you can keep talking while up to six tasks run, follow each one as a row in the call's conversation, and open its chat under that conversation in the chat window's sidebar.
- Changed Realtime Voice to tell you when a task finishes, fails, or needs your answer at the next pause in the conversation, and to recap what finished while no call was running when you call back.
- Changed starting a voice call from a chat that already has messages to open a new conversation with that chat as its first task, while a call from a new chat continues your recent voice conversation.
- Changed voice calls, including Avatar calls, to continue the previous conversation only when it was active in the last minute instead of the last 15 minutes, or while one of its tasks is still open, and you can change this with New Conversation After in Realtime Voice settings.
- Changed completion notifications for tasks started from a voice call to open the call's conversation at that task, and to stay quiet while a call in that conversation can tell you instead.
- Changed Computer Use so only one agent task controls the screen at a time, and another task waits its turn with "Waiting for the screen" shown on its task row instead of clicking at the same time.
- Changed task rows in a voice call's conversation to show the answer itself when a result opens with a line such as "The output is:", and to slide the "On this Mac" strip open and shut instead of making the conversation jump.
- Fixed the Stop button on a voice call's task row flipping back to Stop while the task was still winding down, and an answered task question staying clickable until the task picked up the answer, so the row now says "Stopping…" or "Sent" until the task moves on.
- Fixed tasks started from a voice call picking up small talk the assistant had already answered, such as "what's your name?", so a task now gets only what you asked for, without filler words and with misheard names such as "Note JS" corrected.
- Added a small Open link to an expanded task row in a voice call's conversation that opens the task's own chat.
- Changed a voice call that is reading out a task's question to stop as soon as you answer it on screen, in the call's conversation, the Dynamic Island, the task's chat, or the iPhone app, and to confirm what you chose instead.
- Changed task rows in a voice call's conversation to leave out the agent's name and anything that only repeats the task's title, so an open row shows the title once, then what you asked and what the task is doing now.
- Fixed the back arrow at the top of a task's chat started from a voice call doing nothing, so it now opens the call's conversation like the link beside it.
- Changed a follow-up in a voice call's conversation, such as asking what to do in Beijing after its weather task finished, to go on in that finished task's chat instead of opening a new one.
- Changed a voice call's conversation to keep a task row on every request that started or continued a task, each showing how its own turn went with its answer, time and steps, instead of earlier requests turning into a plain line, and adding to a task that is still running now leaves its row where it is.
- Added task rows to the iPhone app for Mac chats that start tasks in other chats, so messages you type and Live Talk calls from the iPhone go to that conversation as they do on the Mac, and a call tells you when a task finishes, fails, or needs your answer at the next pause.
- Changed the notes a voice call's conversation adds to a reply, such as "Added to" or "Checked", to sit on the left with a small icon like the assistant's other steps, to open the named chat from its title, to say "New task" for a task it starts, and to leave out the note over a reply the assistant gives itself, such as answering a thank-you.
- Changed everyday tasks from a voice call's conversation, such as checking the Node.js version and then drawing a picture, to run one after another in one shared chat instead of opening a new chat each, while separate long-running work, or a task made while the shared chat is busy, still gets its own chat.
- Changed the chats a voice call's conversation runs its tasks in to appear under that conversation in the chat window's sidebar, like subagent chats, instead of among your recent chats, and the conversation now moves to the top of the list when you message it or a task finishes.
- Changed asking a voice call's conversation to see what a task made, such as "show me that video again", to bring that task's row with its files down to the end of the conversation, while asking how a task went still only answers.
- Fixed voice call captions on the Mac and in the iPhone app splitting one sentence into two messages, and the reply with it, when the assistant started answering just before you said your last word.
- Added each task's steps to its row in a voice call's conversation, shown right under its answer and files when you open the row without showing those files a second time, with a spinning mark in place of the blue dot while it runs and a Working label only on an open row, and rows now stay closed until you open them, except one that needs your answer.
- Added the pictures, videos, presentations, files and links a task makes to its row in a voice call's conversation, where they stay in sight with the row closed.
- Fixed the spinning mark on a running task's row in a voice call's conversation sometimes standing still while the task was still running, so the marks now keep turning, in step, after the Dynamic Island opens or the window is shown again.
- Fixed the Dynamic Island's chat list showing the chats a voice call's conversation runs its tasks in as separate rows named by their ids, while a finished task still notifies you and opens the conversation at that task.
- Changed checking on a task or chat from a voice call's conversation to show a row like a task's as soon as the check starts, with a spinning mark and its time while it reads the chat and what it found when you open the row, instead of a "Checked" note that appeared only after the answer.
- Fixed voice calls on the Mac ending with "Network traffic is backed up. The voice connection has stopped." when the network slowed down for a few seconds, so a call now keeps going and ends only if the connection stops responding.
- Changed tasks you start in a voice call to finish after you hang up and then add what they did, with any pictures or files they made, to the end of the call's conversation, telling you on the Mac, in the Dynamic Island and in the iPhone app, while a call still open in that conversation, on the Mac or the iPhone, tells you instead.
- Fixed the iPhone app losing its connection to the Mac as soon as it went to the background, so a Live Talk call in a Mac conversation keeps hearing how its tasks are going with the screen locked, and a quick switch to another app no longer drops the connection.
- Changed tasks you start from a voice call's conversation to keep working on their own, ask you through the conversation when only you can decide something, and end with an answer that starts with the result, so the assistant tells you the outcome first.
- Changed a voice call on the Mac or in the iPhone app that tells you a task finished to show the pictures and files the task made right after what it says, at the end of the conversation, instead of on the task's row further up, which still shows them when you open it, and the assistant now points you to them instead of naming a folder.
- Fixed the result a task adds to the end of a voice call's conversation after you hang up, and in the iPhone app the files a call shows you, not appearing until you reopened the conversation.
- Added a tip in the iPhone app's voice call, shown once at your first request, telling you to update Enconvo on your Mac when that Mac's older version makes each request wait for the one before it.
- Fixed Live Talk calls in Mac conversations in the iPhone app not telling you a task's result once it finished, such as the Node.js version you asked for, so the assistant now says it at the next pause as it does on the Mac.
- Fixed what you and the assistant say in a Live Talk call in a Mac conversation showing up late in the iPhone app, so the words now appear as they are heard.
- Fixed Live Talk in the iPhone app cutting a Mac task's answer short, or saying nothing when the connection dropped while the Mac worked, so it now says the whole answer or tells you what went wrong, as on the Mac.
- Fixed Live Talk in the iPhone app handing a request the assistant had already answered to the Mac again with your next one, and hanging up while a task was still working, so both now follow the same rules as on the Mac.
- Fixed Live Talk in the iPhone app losing the last words of a call in a Mac conversation when you called again right away, or without telling you when words couldn't be saved, so a new call now waits for them and a notice says when some couldn't be saved, as on the Mac.
- Changed Live Talk in Mac conversations in the iPhone app to use the same instructions, error messages and end-of-call behavior as on the Mac, so tasks handed to the Mac keep running after you hang up and the End button can stop a call that is slow to close.
- Changed Mac conversations in the iPhone app to behave as on the Mac during a Live Talk call, so replies hide their buttons until the call ends, a "Thinking" line shows while the assistant works out its answer, reading back no longer jumps you to the bottom as new words are saved, spoken requests are not offered to retry, and a task's files appear under its "Worked for" line once it finishes.
- Changed voice calls on the Mac and Live Talk in the iPhone app to wait when you pause partway through a sentence, such as "I think the real environment might…", so the assistant gives you up to six seconds to go on before starting the task instead of acting on half a request.
- Changed Mac conversations in the iPhone app to show the assistant's work as on the Mac, so routine steps between its words fold into one line such as "Read 3 files, ran 2 commands" that opens to show them, reasoning reads "Thought for 2m 5s", a reply that is starting says "Thinking…" without a timer, and Find in Chat also matches what the assistant said between steps.

- Fixed MCP servers that were removed or turned off while still connecting, which could leave their process running in the background.
- Fixed the MCP page announcing a server as installing when it was added turned off.
- Added MCP servers' own guidance on using their tools to what agents see, so a server's instructions, such as searching before creating a page, reach the agent with its tools while never taking priority over your request.

- Fixed MCP tools that return images, audio, or files, so the agent now sees the images, gets readable text instead of raw encoded data, and can open a resource the tool links to.
- Changed MCP tool steps in chat to show the tool's or app's own icon, such as Bits & Bolts or Gmail, instead of the same generic icon for every server.

- Fixed ChatGPT subscription sign-ins stopping working after about ten days with an error in chat and in AI Model settings, so Enconvo now renews them automatically in the background.
- Added a Reconnect button next to the usage of a subscription in AI Model settings when its sign-in has expired, so you can sign in again right there.
- Fixed ChatGPT and Claude subscription sign-ins that could not be renewed hiding why, so chat and the usage panel in AI Model settings now show the reason OpenAI or Anthropic gave.
- Fixed Claude subscriptions asking you to reconnect when Anthropic was only busy or rate limiting the sign-in renewal, so they now ask you to try again in a moment.
- Added Share Screen to voice calls in the iPhone app, so after you start sharing from the system's screen recording sheet, any question you ask about what's on your iPhone, in Enconvo or another app, is answered from what's on the screen at that moment, as Live Screen does on the Mac, and sharing stops when you tap the button again or hang up.
- Fixed saving videos from your Mac to Photos on iPhone, which refused videos Photos can keep and now opens Save to Files only when Photos really turns one down.

- Fixed saving a workflow sent as a JSON object, such as by an agent, failing or writing it in an outdated format.
- Changed the workflow step picker to hide tools that only open an Enconvo window or list provider models and voices, so the steps you can actually run are easier to find.
- Added a chat list to the workflow editor's Assistant, so starting a new chat keeps the earlier ones about that workflow to reopen or delete.
- Added queuing follow-up messages in the workflow editor's Assistant while it is still replying, so they are sent one at a time in order as each reply finishes and can be reordered, edited, or removed before then.

- Added Fix with Assistant for a workflow step that failed, on the run summary and in the step's Output tab, which hands the step and its error to the editor's Assistant to find the cause and fix it, or tell you what to change outside the workflow.
- Changed run inputs in the workflow editor from a JSON box with sample values to a form built from the workflow's declared inputs, which starts from the values you last ran with and keeps Edit as JSON for anything else.

- Added a Required option and list and object types to the workflow Inputs panel.
- Fixed editing one input in the workflow Inputs panel removing the required setting from the others and turning list and object defaults into plain text.
- Added an Insert value button to workflow step fields, such as the prompt, command, tool settings, and condition, that lists the workflow's inputs and the results of earlier steps and puts the one you pick where your cursor is, so you no longer type references by hand.
- Added a warning under a workflow step field when it uses an input that doesn't exist, a step that hasn't run yet, or a step from a job this one doesn't wait for, with what to change.
- Added a warning icon to workflow step cards on the canvas when a step uses a value it can't read yet, which names the problem when you hover it.
- Added links from the workflow editor's Assistant to the canvas, so selecting a step it names in a reply, or a step on its list of changes, selects that step and brings it into view.
- Changed Show error on the workflow run summary to also bring the failed step into view on the canvas.

- Changed the workflow step inspector to show the step's name in its header and to put the Name field above the step ID, matching the step cards.
- Added Workflows to the Chat Window sidebar under Scheduled, so you can build and run workflows without opening Settings and return to the one you were editing after switching chats.
- Added each plugin's icon to workflow tool step cards, so you can tell steps apart at a glance.
- Changed the condition, repeat, retry, and run-always marks on workflow step cards to clearer icons that say in plain words what the step does when you hover them.

- Fixed a new workflow showing the Assistant chats and run inputs of a deleted workflow with the same name.

- Fixed workflow runs that stopped when Enconvo quit or restarted showing as running forever in the workflow editor, the run history, and the workflow list.

- Changed Automations in the Chat Window sidebar to Scheduled, which now opens a Scheduled view with your tasks listed on the left by what needs your attention, what runs next, and what is paused, plus a search box and a New task button.
- Added setting up scheduled tasks by chatting in the Scheduled view, so you describe a task and when it should run in plain words, such as every weekday at 8:00, and the assistant creates it or changes it when you follow up in the same chat.
- Added starter tasks to the Scheduled view, such as a morning briefing, weekend reads, and price alerts, that fill in the composer for you to adjust and send.
- Added a details page for each scheduled task that shows its schedule and next run times with an On/Paused switch, its instruction, where its results go, and its notifications in one panel, with its recent runs below, each collapsed to the first line of its result until you open it, plus Run now and Change with chat to reopen the chat the task was set up in.
- Added a Mac notification when a scheduled task finishes running, with a Notify me switch on each task, and clicking it opens that task in the Scheduled view.
- Changed asking the assistant in any chat to remind you later or do something on a schedule, so it sets up the task right away, confirms when it will run in plain words and your local time, and the task shows in the Scheduled view like one set up there.
- Fixed scheduled tasks being told the time in UTC, so a task that asks about today or this week now works from your local date and time.
- Fixed pressing Esc in a chat shown over the Chat Window, such as the Scheduled view's chat, stopping the reply running in the chat underneath.
- Fixed opening the Scheduled view or a task's run in the Chat Window leaving the main chat unable to open a chat you pick from the launcher, take Screen Doodle and Appshot captures, or attach Live Voice until you started another chat.
- Changed Settings → Agents → Scheduled Jobs to Scheduled Tasks, so the settings page, its task editor, and run history use the same names as the Scheduled view, and searching settings for "scheduled jobs" or "cron" still finds it.
- Added a Scheduling chats menu above the Scheduled view's chat, so you can go back to an earlier scheduling chat, such as one still waiting for your answer, start a new one, or delete one without deleting its tasks, which then belong to the next chat you change them in.
- Added a card for each scheduled task the assistant sets up in a chat, showing when it runs next with an Open button that takes you to the task in the Scheduled view, and whether the task has since been paused, finished, or deleted.
- Added in-place editing on a scheduled task's details page, so you can change when it runs from its schedule, rename it by clicking its name, and edit its instruction or shell command without opening the full editor.
- Fixed a scheduled task's description being replaced with "Router for jobs" when you turned its notifications on or off or changed it from its details page.
- Added a menu to each task in the Scheduled view's list, opened from its … button or by right-clicking it, to run, pause or resume, edit, or delete the task without opening it, and the arrow keys to move between tasks.
- Added choosing where a scheduled task's results go right from its Results row, picking a chat you've talked to an Agent in or keeping them only in Enconvo, without opening the editor.
- Added fixes to a scheduled task's needs-attention note, so you can fix a failed task with chat or run it again, and send an unsent result again or change where results go, plus Ask follow-ups, Copy, and Send again under each recent run.
- Added running a saved workflow as a scheduled task, with its inputs set in the task editor, each run's result taken from the workflow's last step, and Open run to see a run's steps in Workflows.
- Added setting up workflow tasks from the Scheduled view's chat, so asking it to run a saved workflow on a schedule finds the workflow by name and fills the inputs you mention.
- Added your saved workflows as quick picks on the Scheduled view's new-task screen, so you can schedule one in a single click and adjust the time before sending.
- Changed scheduled tasks to describe more schedules in plain words, such as every year on Jan 1 at 03:00, twice a day, or every hour from 09:00 to 17:00 on weekdays, the same way in the Scheduled view, Settings, and chat cards, and the Cron editor now shows what an expression means as you type.
Companion Apps
- Fixed dictation in the iPhone app stopping and throwing away what you said when the connection to your Mac dropped or reconnected mid-sentence, so it now keeps listening and your words stay in the message box until the Mac is back.
- Fixed files you send from the iPhone app, such as PDFs and zip files, failing to download when tapped right after sending, and they now open straight from your iPhone without downloading them back from your Mac.
- Fixed images a Mac task hands back in the iPhone app showing only a file type badge, so they now show a preview of the picture as on the Mac.
- Fixed the iPhone app showing no row while the assistant checks on a running task during a voice call, so the Checking row now appears when the check starts and turns into Checked when it ends, as on the Mac.
- Changed the Share Screen button in iPhone voice calls to a screen-sharing icon that says what it does.
- Fixed a new voice call's greeting in the iPhone app appearing above the images from the previous call, so each call now starts below everything before it, as on the Mac.
Appearance, Languages, and Cloud Voice
- Added System, Light, and Dark appearance options in macOS Settings → General, with changes applied immediately and remembered after restarting.
- Added ElevenLabs TTS through Enconvo Cloud without a personal API key and made it the default text-to-speech provider.
- Added English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, and Polish versions of the Enconvo website, with language switching at the right of the navigation across product, pricing, account, and sign-in pages.
- Added an Android Companion preview with Phone chats, web and image tools, account chat sync, personal API key models, Mac pairing and streaming chats with queues and approvals, five interface languages, and the same Puppy Avatar as the iPhone app.
- Fixed the Android Companion preview's personal instructions editor so Save stays above the keyboard and going back keeps your changes.
- Added offline access to recent Mac chats in the Android Companion preview, with saved replies restored when you reopen the app and updated when your Mac reconnects.
- Added sending a parked or queued Mac message immediately from the Android Companion preview, keeping its attachments and any separate draft you are writing.
- Added rich reply formatting to the Android Companion preview, with code blocks, tables, lists, and quotes drawn as on iPhone in both phone and Mac chats.
- Added Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Portuguese interfaces to the macOS and iPhone apps, with an instant language switch and Follow System option in Settings.
- Fixed Text-to-Speech settings to show ElevenLabs Cloud as the default when no provider has been selected, while preserving providers chosen by the user.

Ask Sidebar is now available from selected text or file context · Chat answers and long conversations feel cleaner · +3 more
Hi friends, thanks for testing this round. Enconvo 2.5.4 is mostly about making the app feel cleaner and steadier in daily use: Dynamic Island is easier to control, Sidebar handoff is quicker, chat rendering is smoother, analytics are more privacy-conscious, and the macOS app package is lighter.
Dynamic Island is easier to control with a new menu bar toggle, more reliable hover activation, better keyboard handling, and an optional notch exclusion setting.
Ask Sidebar is now available from selected text or file context, so you can send content into Enconvo from Finder or other right-click workflows.
Chat answers and long conversations feel cleaner with better answer formatting and improved message list rendering for longer histories.
Analytics are more privacy-conscious with consistent signed-in user identity and filtering for sensitive values such as API keys, passwords, and tokens.
The macOS app package is lighter after removing unused Swift packages and dead UI helper code.
OpenRouter Claude reasoning options are clearer for newer Opus and Sonnet model families.
Dynamic Island
- Added an Enable or Disable Dynamic Island item to the menu bar menu.
- Improved Dynamic Island event handling to match SmartBar behavior more closely, including Escape, Cmd+W, Cmd+N, and Return key flows.
- Replaced raw event monitors with stack-based hotkey monitors for more reliable open and close cycles.
- Fixed repeated compact hover entries sometimes failing to open.
- Hover validation now respects the padded hover target, so activation is less fragile around the visible pill.
- Added an optional Exclude Notch Area setting. When enabled, hover inside the physical notch area will not trigger Dynamic Island, while hover below or beside the notch still works.
- Removed streaming text preview from compact and expanded Dynamic Island modes when agent auto-read is active.
Chat And Sidebar
- Added the Ask Sidebar command for sending selected text or file context into the app sidebar.
- Registered Ask Sidebar as a Finder service and general right-click action.
- Chat With AI now avoids fenced code blocks unless you ask for code, commands, structured data, logs, or exact copyable text.
- Formula-style answers now stay in normal prose or Markdown math instead of code-style boxes.
- Improved long chat rendering by stabilizing Streamdown props and using content visibility for off-screen cached messages.
Privacy And App Package
- Signed-in users are identified more consistently across the Mac app, Node.js runtime, and web settings app.
- Sensitive values such as API keys, passwords, and tokens are filtered before analytics events are sent.
- Event names are clearer for command runs, panels, providers, settings, login/logout, and feature flags.
- Removed unused Swift packages including OpenAISwift, ActivityIndicatorView, SwiftUIPager, OpenAI by MacPaw, Blackbird, GoogleSignIn, GoogleSignInSwift, MenuBarExtraAccess, MSDisplayLink, SpringInterpolation, and Splash.
- Deleted unused WindowAnimation helpers and cleaned dead Swift imports in views and services.
Models And Providers
- OpenRouter Claude Opus and Sonnet model ids now match reasoning effort profiles by model family and version, even when naming order or separators vary.
- Opus 4.7 and 4.8 now show adaptive Low, Medium, High, X-High, and Max effort choices instead of legacy token-budget choices.
- Other Claude fallback models, including Sonnet 4.5 and latest aliases, now use the simpler Low, Medium, High, and Max effort list.
